1. Breakdown voltage (V) | Apply a power frequency voltage to the sample by continuously and uniformly boosting it, and maintain the voltage value at which the sample breaks down, expressed in kV. |
2. Breakdown strength (E) | The quotient of the breakdown voltage value of the sample and the average thickness of the sample between the two electrodes, measured in kV/mm. |
