Transformer lightning impulse voltage generator is a core device in the field of high-voltage electrical testing, mainly used to simulate natural lightning impulse or overvoltage, to evaluate the insulation performance and impact resistance of high-voltage equipment such as power transformers, lightning arresters, insulators, etc. Its working principle is based on a multi-stage Marx generator circuit, which superimposes lower voltages step by step through parallel charging and series discharging to generate high voltage pulses of millions of volts, thereby reproducing standard lightning impulse waveforms (such as 1.2/50 μ s wave head/tail time)
