Introduction:
Transformer dry air generator uses an adsorption drying system as a precision dryer, and achieves deep drying through reasonable combination, greatly reducing the consumption of regenerated gas. It is a low consumption, high-quality air purification and drying device.
The adsorption drying system uses a special porous surface solid adsorbent, activated alumina (Al203) and molecular sieve as adsorbents. Based on the principles of molecular surface adsorption kinetics and pressure swing adsorption, water molecules in the air are adsorbed on the surface of the adsorbent at room temperature under pressure. Regeneration is carried out under reduced (released) pressure, and the adsorbed water molecules are desorbed from the surface of the adsorbent. They are then blown back by partially dry air and taken out of the machine, achieving the purpose of deep drying.

Moisture intrusion is one of the main culprits causing insulation aging, performance degradation, and even faults in transformers.

Application of Transformer Drying Air Generator
Transformer oil injection/replenishment protection: When injecting oil or replenishing insulation oil into the transformer, dry air is injected into the upper space of the oil pillow or oil tank to form positive pressure, effectively isolating the intrusion of humid air, preventing new oil from getting damp, and ensuring insulation strength.
Transformer hot oil circulation/oil filtration drying: providing dry air as a protective or power source for hot oil circulation or vacuum oil filtration equipment, accelerating the removal of moisture and gas from oil, significantly improving oil filtration efficiency and effectiveness.
Internal maintenance and drying of transformers: During the suspension or internal maintenance of transformers, dry air is continuously introduced to maintain a slightly positive pressure and dry environment inside the transformer body, preventing insulation materials from absorbing moisture during the maintenance process.
Long term shutdown protection for transformers: For standby or long-term shutdown transformers, injecting and maintaining a dry air environment is an economically effective means to prevent insulation from deteriorating due to moisture and extend equipment life.
