Introduction



Different from the complex operation and single testing method of traditional lightning arrester detection equipment, the live testing instrument for zinc oxide lightning arrester adopts a distributed wireless acquisition design, with current and voltage sampling wirelessly transmitted to the host, completely eliminating the problem of complex on-site wiring. 

At the same time, the instrument integrates three testing methods: current method, voltage method, and no voltage method. It supports flexible switching between handheld, desktop, and Android tablet/phone multiple hosts. The entire measurement process is controlled by a human-machine interface, with simple operation and stable data. 

It balances the convenience of on-site testing with the accuracy of detection results and is suitable for various complex detection environments in the power field.

Comprehensive Parameter Measurement

Accurately measure multiple core electrical parameters of zinc oxide arresters, including:
  • Leakage current: total current waveform, fundamental wave effective value, peak value;

  • Resistive current component: waveform, 1/3/5/7/9 times effective value, peak value Irp, fundamental wave peak value Ir1p;

  • Capacitive current: fundamental wave value;

  • Voltage: voltage waveform, effective value;

  • Other parameters: phase difference, active power, power consumption, etc.


Diverse Testing Modes

Support six wiring and testing methods, including current method (current counter two-terminal sampling), voltage method (PT secondary side sampling/ maintenance power supply sampling), induction plate sampling (optional), non-voltage method, current clamp grounding wire sampling (optional), and laboratory simulation wiring method, to adapt to different on-site testing conditions.

Intuitive Data Display & Analysis

The large color screen displays the test data and voltage/current/resistive current waveforms in real time, and the data display supports detailed/simplified mode switching. The built-in harmonic analysis and vector calculation functions can separate the resistive current from the total current, and realize the quantitative analysis of arrester insulation performance.



Convenient Data Management

  • Data Saving: Automatically save test data with the test time as the file name, with power-off protection function;

  • Data Export: Support U disk to export test data in Word format, easy for offline archiving and report editing;

  • Data Sharing: Android APP supports sharing test data in text, picture and Word formats to mainstream social and office platforms;

  • Data Printing: Equipped with a Bluetooth thermal printer (standard configuration), which can realize on-site printing of test data (desktop host supports direct printing).



Intelligent Auxiliary Functions

  • Anti-interference Processing: With anti-interference calculation and angle compensation functions, solve the problem of three-phase mutual interference in high-voltage scenes;

  • Battery Management: Real-time display of host and collector battery status, with low power prompt function;

  • System Setting: Support screen background color/brightness adjustment, standby time setting, system time calibration, etc.;

  • Test Note Input: Support Chinese/English input of site, equipment, personnel, notes and other information, which is convenient for marking and managing test data;

  • MODBUS Communication: The handheld/desktop host supports MODBUS RS232 communication (optional RS485), which can be connected to the upper computer for centralized data management.

  • The wiring sequence is guided, and the instrument is required to be reliably grounded first before other wiring, avoiding electrical safety hazards;

  • The current and voltage signal lines are anti-reverse connection design, which prevents the instrument from being burned due to wrong wiring;
