What are the factors that affect the measurement error of the current transformer CT?

Publish Time: 2022-04-21     Origin: Site

The measurement error of the transformer is related to the impedance of the secondary circuit. The increase of the impedance will increase the error, and the accuracy will decrease. Therefore, the external impedance is a key factor in determining the exact level at which the current transformer operates. Since the power consumed in the secondary circuit of the current transformer is proportional to the external impedance, the rated impedance is often used to represent its capacity. In fact, the volt-ampere value of the rated capacity is equal to the power value supplied by the current transformer at the rated impedance and rated current.

Our GDVA-405 Automatic CT PT Analyzer is used to measure the ratio error, phase error, polarity, excitation characteristic, burden,Secondary winding resistance and so on of Current transformer CT.
