What are the main items of power transformer test?

Publish Time: 2022-05-26     Origin: Site

The test items for power transformers shall include the following:

1. Insulating oil(transformer oil) breakdown voltage test ;

2. Measure the DC resistance of the winding together with the bushing;

3. Check the voltage ratio of all taps;

4. Check the three-phase wiring group of the transformer and the polarity of the single-phase transformer lead wire;

5. Measure the insulation resistance of each fastener insulated from the iron core (the connecting piece can be dismantled) and the iron core (with an external grounding wire);

6. Transformer winding deformation test;

7. Inspection and test of the on-load voltage regulating switching device;

8. Measure the insulation resistance, absorption ratio or polarization index of the winding together with the bushing;

9. Measure the dielectric loss tangent value tanδ of the winding and the bushing;

10. Measure the DC leakage current of the winding together with the bushing;

11. AC withstand voltage test of winding and bushing;

12. Long-term induced voltage test with partial discharge test of winding and bushing;

13. Impulse closing test under rated voltage;

14. Check the phase;

15. Measure noise.,etc.

Our company is manufacturing full range of transformer testing equipment for more than 20 years. all the equipment can full meet IEC, ASTM D standards.
