VLF Sine Wave 80kV AC Hipot Tester with Tan Delta Test for Medium Voltage Cable Testing
Applications:
AC withstand voltage test for 35kV and below cables.

The advantages of using VLF tester for AC withstand voltage test of cables:
AC characteristics: The electric field distribution generated by VLF (usually 0.1Hz) is very close to 50Hz AC power frequency, which can more accurately reflect the operating status of the cable.
Lightweight : Due to its extremely low frequency, the required testing power is greatly reduced (power is proportional to frequency), making the equipment small in size, light in weight, and easy to use on site.
Non destructive diagnosis: It can effectively stimulate and detect typical defects such as "water branches" under AC voltage, and the damage to insulation is much less than that of DC testing.
