GDC-200kv
CHONGQING GOLD
200kv RC AC/DC High Voltage Divider HVDC Testing Equipment with Dry Insulating Medium
In high-voltage withstand voltage testing, surge arrester testing, and high-voltage source calibration, many operators directly rely on the readings from the meter on the withstand voltage equipment itself. However, stray electric fields, parasitic capacitance of leads, and drift of internal components in substations can all cause meter readings to be either too high or too low. Once the voltage data is distorted, it will directly lead to misinterpretations of test conclusions, and the report will not be accepted by supervisors or third-party testing agencies.
The GDC-200KV RC AC/DC high-voltage divider is specifically designed to solve the above problems, replacing outdated and easily damaged high-voltage electrostatic voltmeters. The entire unit adopts an RC matching voltage divider architecture, with the high-voltage arm using a combination of high-precision glass enamel resistors and film capacitors, and is encapsulated with DuPont dry dielectric integrated potting, eliminating the risk of oil leakage.
The equipment adopts a split structure, with the high-voltage divider column and the low-voltage digital display unit separate, and is equipped with shielded coaxial signal cables. The device undergoes multi-point calibration using the direct comparison method at the factory, conforming to metrological regulations JJG496-2016 and JJG1007-2005, and comes with complete factory calibration records, ensuring traceability of measurement data.
It can be used in a laboratory for calibration and comparison, or travel with the work team to adapt to the diverse on-site conditions of substations and overseas EPC projects.

1. Integrated RC-DC Measurement: Avoiding the Inherent Defects of Single-Type Voltage Dividers |
Unlike simple resistor or capacitor voltage divider solutions, the RC combination accommodates both AC power frequency and DC measurement needs. AC measurement accuracy is ±1.5%, and DC measurement accuracy is ±1.0%. One device performs both types of high-voltage measurements, eliminating the need to purchase two sets of equipment. With an input impedance as high as 2000MΩ, it minimizes disturbance to the load of the measured high-voltage source and will not change the actual circuit operating conditions due to the connection of a voltage divider. |
| 2. Full-Link Shielding for Interference Reduction: Solving the Problem of Reading Fluctuations in Substations |
The top aluminum alloy equipotential bonding sphere optimizes the spatial electric field distribution, suppressing corona discharge at the tip; the high-voltage body is sealed and shielded, while the low-voltage digital display uses a fully metal casing for shielding; it is equipped with a 4-meter dedicated shielded coaxial signal cable. In the strong electromagnetic environment of a substation with adjacent energized equipment, the readings will not fluctuate randomly, ensuring stable and reliable on-site test data. Dry sealing technology reduces the risk of internal partial discharge, allowing stable operation even in damp environments. |
| 3.Dual-Range Design for Balanced Resolution Across Large and Small Voltage Ranges |
Features hardware switching between a 0-20kV low range and a 0-200kV high range. The low range is used for low-voltage testing of 20kV and below, further improving the resolution of decimal places. The four-and-a-half-digit LCD display has a resolution of up to 0.001kV, clearly capturing minute voltage changes and avoiding the common problem of coarse readings in the low-voltage range with a single large range. |
| 4. Flexible Dual-Mode Use to Adapt to Diverse Data Acquisition Needs |
The standard low-voltage digital display head allows for direct reading of high-voltage values upon power-on. Simultaneously, the voltage divider column supports independent output of a 1000:1 voltage divider sampling signal, independent of the included display meter. It can be directly con |
| 5. Factory-based Multi-point Calibration to Meet Project Traceability Requirements |
The device undergoes full-range multi-point calibration using a direct comparison method, covering multiple key voltage points from 5kV to 198kV. Each device comes with a factory calibration report. For EPC projects and third-party testing organizations, this allows for the provision of instrument traceability documentation, preventing reports from being rejected due to missing calibration records. It also facilitates periodic re-inspections by metrology institutions. |
