Introduction

High voltage resistance tester is a professional equipment used to test the breakdown strength of solid materials. This device is equipped with high-precision current and voltage sensors, with multiple protection functions such as overcurrent and short circuit, and supports remote wireless Bluetooth control. In addition, the instrument is capable of real-time drawing of test curves, recording and analyzing test data, and complies with multiple international standards such as ASTM D149.

Suitable for testing the breakdown voltage, breakdown strength, and voltage resistance of solid insulation materials such as insulation coatings, resins and adhesives, impregnated fiber products, and laminated products under power frequency voltage.

1. Breakdown voltage (V)

Apply a power frequency voltage to the sample by continuously and uniformly boosting it, and maintain the voltage value at which the sample breaks down, expressed in kV.

2. Breakdown strength (E)

The quotient of the breakdown voltage value of the sample and the average thickness of the sample between the two electrodes, measured in kV/mm.
