100A Portable Anti-interference Loop Resistance Tester IEC 62271-1
Product Description
100A Portable Anti-interference Loop Resistance Tester IEC 62271-1
▍Poor contact in high-voltage circuit breakers and disconnectors can cause excessive contact resistance, leading to overheating and equipment burn-out during operation. This is a key inspection item for substation maintenance. Ordinary low-current instruments cannot reproduce the actual current-carrying conditions of the switches, which can easily lead to misjudgments.
GDHL-100A loop resistance tester
It features two operating modes: rapid measurement and standard long-term measurement. It supports local storage, on-site thermal printing, and data upload to a computer via RS232 serial port, with direct export of Word format test reports.
The portable protective enclosure makes it suitable for switchgear factory acceptance testing, substation overhauls, preventative testing, and third-party power field inspections.
Product Highlights
★100A DC High Current Output, Reproducing the True Current-Carrying State of the Switch
Based on the IEC62271 standard, a 100A DC test current avoids misjudgments of contact status caused by low-current testing, accurately reflecting the contact performance of the circuit breaker contacts.
★Four-lead Kelvin measurement, micro-ohm level high precision
C1/C2 current output, P1/P2 voltage sampling with separate wiring; voltage sampling clamp inside the contact head, eliminating lead and clamp contact resistance from the outset; resolution 0.1μΩ, ensuring accurate and reliable measurement results.
★Dual test modes adapt to different field needs
Fast measurement: 100A output held for 1 second, enabling rapid results for large-scale on-site inspections;
Standard measurement: 100A continuous output for 60 seconds, real-time observation of resistance changes with energization time, identifying potential contact thermal stability issues.
★Complete Data Loop: Storage – Printing – Word Export
This unit can store up to 100 sets of timestamped test records; it has a built-in mini thermal printer for direct on-site printing of paper reports; RS232 serial communication allows data upload via accompanying software and one-click export of archived Word reports.
★English LCD User Interface
Menu-based button operation allows setting the system time, viewing, retrieving, and deleting historical records. The simple operation logic allows field personnel to quickly learn how to use it.
★Portable Industrial Protective Enclosure
The integrated portable protective enclosure features simple wiring and comes with an 8-meter-long test cable to meet wiring requirements at different distances within the switchgear cabinet.

How do I choose between the fast mode and the standard 60-second mode?
For large-scale on-site inspections, prioritize the fast 1-second mode; if thermal instability is suspected in the contacts, use the standard 60-second long-time mode to monitor resistance changes in real time.
Why is a four-lead connection necessary?
A 100A current flowing through the test cable will cause a voltage drop; the four-lead connection separates the current loop and the voltage sampling loop, eliminating measurement errors caused by cable and clamp contact resistance, ensuring accurate measurements down to the micro-ohm level.
How do I export test data to Word?
A: Connect the instrument to a computer via RS232, use the accompanying host computer software to read the locally stored records, and save and export a one-click MS Word report for direct use in project archiving.
Q: Can it continuously output 100A?
A: No, the standard mode allows a maximum continuous output of 60 seconds; continuous operation requires intermittent cooling to prevent the power unit from overheating.
