VLF-TD is an integrated device for VLF withstand voltage and dielectric loss testing, covering the multi-dimensional insulation testing needs of medium voltage cables, supporting a variety of output waveforms, and its portable design is suitable for on-site mobile detection scenarios.
Advantages of Precise Insulation Detection
1. Compliant with CENELEC HD 620 S1/HD 621 S1 standards, the 0.1Hz VLF sine wave test can accurately identify water tree degradation in PE/XLPE cables, and realize reliable flashover detection for paper-insulated cable faults as well.
2. The dielectric loss factor (tanδ) measurement features a resolution of 1×10⁻⁵ and an accuracy of 1×10⁻⁴, which can accurately quantify the degree of cable insulation degradation and provide precise data support for status evaluation.
3. Supports automatic graded testing at 0.5/1.0/1.5 times the rated voltage U0, with multi-voltage gradients to fully scan the weak points of cable insulation for no dead angle detection.
4. Synchronously supports leakage current measurement, and comprehensively evaluates the relative quality of cable insulation by combining multi-dimensional data such as dielectric loss, capacitance and resistance, for more comprehensive judgment results.
