This analyzer can conduct CT excitation parameters & curve tests, ratio & phase error tests, polarity verification, winding resistance, secondary burden measurement, 10% error curve calculation for protection CTs, as well as PT ratio, polarity, secondary burden and winding resistance tests.
It also features nameplate parameter guessing and transient CT analysis, suitable for substations, power plants, and laboratories.
High accuracy：Ratio error as low as ±0.05% (range 1~2000), phase error ±2min, current measurement error ＜±0.1%+0.01%FS.
Wide range with auto‑ranging：Voltage output 0.1~180V, current output 0.001~5A, power 500VA. Auto‑ranging on all measurements – no manual switching.
Low‑frequency excitation technology：Uses frequencies down to 0.25Hz, enabling safe low‑voltage testing of high‑saturation‑voltage CTs (equivalent knee point up to 45kV).
Intelligent nameplate guessing：When nameplate data is missing, the analyzer estimates rated primary/secondary current and accuracy class based on measured winding resistance, turns ratio and excitation characteristics.
Large memory & reporting：Stores over 1000 test records, generates Word test reports, and exports data to USB drive.
Two‑in‑one：Supports full test suites for both current transformers (CT) and voltage transformers (PT).
Multi‑standard compliance：Works with IEC60044‑1/2/5/6, C57.13; automatic pass/fail evaluation per selected standard.
Auto‑evaluation：Compares measured values against standard limits – failed items highlighted in red.
Excitation curve overlay：Compare current curve with a saved curve on the same graph to detect core changes.
Built‑in degaussing：Two degaussing cycles are included in the test sequence to ensure repeatability.
