Do acoustic imagers have precision indicators?
This device does not provide a single accuracy value similar to "± 1dB" because acoustic imaging relies more on frequency range, sound pressure dynamic response, and image overlay logic.
The device supports a broadband response of 2kHz-100kHz and can stably image in partial discharge and gas leakage scenarios.
What maintenance work can it be used for?
It is suitable for the following maintenance tasks:
Location and leakage rate assessment of gas leaks - display leak level, leak volume L/min, estimated annual cost
Analysis of PRPD spectra of partial discharge
Intermittent noise capture - through T-FFTD ® Transient mode
Sound source localization of vibrating or loose components
As long as the frequency of the sound source is within the response range of the device and there is a distinguishable sound pressure difference from the environmental noise, it can be effectively used.
