10. 00mΩ -10. 00Ω Winding Resistance Ohmmeter Transformer DC Resistance Tester

Transformer DC circuit resistance tester is a new generation of high-precision product that can replace DC Wheatstone bridge and double arm bridge.
The equipment adopts advanced starting power constant current source technology, and uses four and a half digit LCD display values and three and a half digit LCD display values to improve the disadvantage of inconvenient reading of environmental values in sunlight on LED display. At the same time, there is an internal discharge circuit that will beep after the test is completed, which can prevent back electromotive force from injuring people.

Why does a regular resistance tester always lose its chain on site?

Those who have worked in transformer maintenance know that there are two things they are most afraid of when measuring DC resistance: first, the current is too small, and the winding time constant of large capacity transformers is large, which requires a long wait for stability; Secondly, after measuring inductive devices, if the wires are directly unplugged, the back electromotive force may easily damage the instrument or even injure people.

A regular low current tester faces a large transformer, charging for half an hour and testing for five minutes, with one gear taking half a day.

How can we solve it?

GDZC-40 can output a maximum of 40A DC current and is available in five levels: 2A, 5A, 10A, 20A, and 40A. High current charging is fast, and the winding time constant can quickly stabilize even if it is large.

In addition, the instrument has a built-in discharge circuit, which will beep after the test is completed. The wiring can only be removed after the beep stops and the indicator light goes out - this design directly avoids back electromotive force injury to the equipment.

  1. Multiple current levels: from a small resistance of 0.5m Ω to a winding of 10 Ω, it can be covered. For measuring small resistance, use high current, and for measuring large resistance, use low current, with flexible matching.

  2. Equipped with discharge protection: When measuring inductive loads, the instrument automatically discharges and the buzzer stops before disconnecting, ensuring safety.

  3. Data can be stored in 200 sets: after on-site testing, it can be stored directly and then slowly viewed or exported to the computer when returning to the office.

Application scenarios

  • Measurement of DC resistance of transformer winding: a necessary item for handover test and preventive test to determine whether the winding has broken strands or loose joints.

  • Motor stator resistance test: High power motors have low winding resistance and high inductance, and can quickly stabilize with a high current of 40A.

  • Transformer winding measurement: Check the DC resistance of CT and PT to determine if the winding is normal.

  • Reactor testing: After the inductive load is tested, it must be discharged. The built-in discharge circuit of this machine is safer.
