GDBC-901
GOLD

Why do variable ratio tests sometimes fail or exceed the allowable error?
You may encounter situations where the test results exceed the error limit or the test fails. Based on actual on-site experience, common reasons include:
Poor contact of test clip
Internal inter turn short circuit of transformer
Wrong position of tap changer
Test voltage is affected by external power interference
What changes have we made to address these issues?
In the design of GDBC-901, we have specifically incorporated several response measures:
Reverse connection protection unit: prevents accidental injection of high voltage into the operating end
Test voltage regeneration technology: Regenerate AC test voltage from the power supply to reduce the impact of poor power supply
Overcurrent protection: Automatic interruption when overcurrent occurs in the test voltage
Excitation current measurement: helps you determine whether there is a turn to turn short circuit or magnetic circuit abnormality
These are not 'theoretical functions', but practical solutions that we gradually incorporate after seeing a large number of failed on-site testing cases.
The equipment is mainly used to measure the voltage transformation ratio of three-phase or single-phase transformers, and also supports the transformation ratio testing of current transformers and voltage transformers. The device will output a safe test voltage, automatically calculate the transformation ratio error and excitation current, and also identify the wiring group and polarity of the transformer.
The measurement range of the variable ratio is from 1 to 10000, with an error of ± 0.2% in the range of 1-2000 and ± 0.5% in the range of 2000-10000.
This accuracy is sufficient for daily preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing before the transformer is put into operation. introduction photo introduction photo introduction photo introduction..

Application scenarios
Scenario 1: Acceptance of Distribution Transformers Before Operation
Confirm whether the transformation ratio is consistent with the nameplate. Set the standard ratio and connection method, press start, and the result will be displayed within 30 seconds.
Scenario 2: CT polarity verification of substation
Connect device A and B to the CT secondary side, and connect device A and B to the primary side. The device will automatically determine whether the polarity is consistent.
Scenario 3: Multi tap changer transformer testing
Capable of testing 10kV/380V five level transformers and automatically calculating the transformation ratio range in 2% steps.
